Dr. Galit Cohen-Blankshtain is a senior lecturer at the Department of Geography and the School of Public Policy at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem. She earned her PhD from the Free University of Amsterdam and spent a year as a Post doctorate fellow at Harvard University, Kennedy School of Government. She was the head of excellence program at public policy .Her main research interests regarding public policies in various filed as transport, urban policy and environmental policy, as well as public involvement in policy processes. She is interested at policy processes and examining different societal, institutional and political aspects of transport policy and the interaction between policy and community. She published in various scientific journals, including, Urban Studies, Transportation, Transportation Research D and A, Environment and Planning A and D, International Journal of Urban and Regional Research and International Journal of Sustainable Transportation.
